I hope you all are adjusting well. We are moving right along and I want to confirm that packets will be available for pickup on April 9. There is a system that I will inform you of by Friday, April 3. A lot more details will be explained then also. Today's lesson was on inferencing from the text-- ALCS 1) Cite textual evidence to support analysis of what the text says explicitly as well as inferences drawn from the text [RL.6.1].
We still have to cover state standards for 6th grade, so they will be as best prepared for 7th grade despite the circumstances. We can do this! Again, I do see the results and answers to all of the activities, questions and quizzes. They can take their time, just meet the deadlines. Have a great weekend.

For the Nearpod lesson, click here. You should be able to click, put in your real name and participate. The second reading passage is pretty long and on 6th grade level. So, if you know your child needs a little help, please read it with them.
Students who were apart of the live session DO NOT have to repeat the lesson. Relax, we are back in action full time on Monday, April 6. :D
